Sentinel Missile Workforce Hubs

The Air Force will be building work force hubs to address the needs for workers to have available housing and other facilities while they are in the field constructing the new Launch Centers and renovating the Launch Facilities for the Sentinel missile.

These hubs will house 2500 to 3000 workers. Each hub will be approximately 50 to 60 acres in size, and will provide dining and laundry facilities, a medical clinic and housing.

Given the significant amount of area these missile squadrons are located, having a workforce hub will make it more feasible deploying such a significant workforce to make this transition to the Sentinel missile feasible.

The missile wing at Malmstrom AFB encompasses such a significant amount of land, two workforce hubs will be needed given the size of the missile wing overall.

The Air Force states the tentative locations for these workforce hubs will be constructed in the vicinitiy of the following locations.

Minot, North Dakota

Kimball, Nebraska

Great Falls, Montana.

Lewistown, Montana
